Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S40 Digital Camera
My camera's LCD screen only works when in the review mode. It stays black in the picture-taking mode. It takes the picture fine, but I have to look through the viewer instead of seeing it on the screen. Also, sometimes in the review mode, the screen will move up and down in frames, like an old-fashioned filmstrip. Can anyone help me out with this, or will I just need to replace the camera?
CCD sensor fault ( not outputting anything so no pictures captured ). Have the sensor replaced but try to have it done free of charge. Sony does replace them free of charge but you have to check with them ( not all models with this fault are repaired free of charge ).
