Question about Maytag PAV2300 Top Load Washer
Water drips continously into my washing machine even though I am not running the washer. It eventually fills up and I have to run the spin cycle to empty the washer. Why is it dripping when the washer is not turned on and would I need to call a washing machine repair man or plumber for this problem?

SOURCE: water in my washing machine
it sounds like you have a leaking water valve, you will have to replace the mixing valve, For now turn the water off at the wall suppling water to the machine. When you want to use the washer turn on water, when its done with the cycle turn the water off.
Note: unplugging the machine will not stop the water from running
