Problem for ATI FireMV 2400, (128 MB) PCI Graphic Card

Need a solution to get Ubuntu to work with this video card

Cannot find a ubuntu driver for this product. I have it working fine with Windows XP but when Ubuntu is installed it says video mode not supported.

ATI cards are always a bit of an issue with Ubuntu - ATI offer very little support, in contrast nVidia are very impressive.

There seems to be a lot of issues with ATIs and Jaunty so you're probably best to stick with Intrepid (8.10).

Look into fglrx.
