thanks for that, but there is nothing in the troubleshoot section regarding my problem.
I have tried turning off the machine at the on off switch and at the mains for a couple of hours to try and reset it but still nothing.

    What do you suggest??????????????

Make sure the door is firmly closed.

When you select the desired wash does the info bubble "display screen" show the correct data.

When you power off the machine at the mains and then switch it back on, does the front power(start) button start the machine up?

It could be the circuit board behind the front panel.

    Does the Dryer work ok?

Wrinkles clothes terribly. Solutions.

Check your settings on your dryer. See if it's on a longer duration of time to dry. Dryers have different wording depending upon the make and model. If you're trying to dry smaller loads the heat settings s
does not have to be set for very long. Heavier, loads with thicker clothing will need to dry a little longer. When you take the clothes out of the washing machine, do you shake the clothes before putting them in the dryer? And do you use dryer sheets? Believe it or not, they're not only used to help make your clothe's smell fresh but they also help elevate static and a few wrinkles.

Hi We have a miele condensor dryer. It is working fine except that you have to put clothes through twice to dry. It seems to cut short the drying process and then you need to put the machine back on...

The first thing you need to check is your vent system. If your dryer vent is clogged with lint, the dryer has a hard time expelling the moisture.
Then, if the vent is clean, try using a timed drying cycle instead of a sensor cycle. If your clothes get dry using the timed cycle, then you might have a sensor problem.
Also, make sure your wash machine is properly spinning out the clothes. I saw that once before where the customer thought the problem was with the dryer, but it ended up being their wash machine's ATC switch adding water at the end of the spin cycle.

Good luck!

I have a Semi Automatic Whirlpool Sparkle washing machine my question is can i put water in the dryer just to remove soap from the clothes

Whether your dryer is electric or gas, DON'T PUT WATER IN THE DRYER!!! If you need to get more soap out of the laundry, run it through another cycle without soap.

Where do you put the fabric softener

In the dryer. Use dryer sheets - they're much more convenient and more direct. Clothing doesn't get stiff in the washing machine, it gets stiff in the dryer - treat it in the dryer, where it happens.

Better still, hang your clothing outdoors on a clothesline if you can - that's as good as it gets, and laundry CANNOT smell better than it does fresh off the clothesline.
