Make sure that your chain isn't adjusted too tightly, and that you've adjusted the force settings on your opener. There is also a little black plastic wheel with slots on it that must be aligned with a small control board with a black plastic U-shaped piece. If everything I've described is correct, then you should call a door serviceman to inspect the opener.

strange, was going to say eyes not aligned but you say they are. try over-riding by holding down wall pushbutton or jumping from red and white terminals. Did you increase down force. Are limit switch terminals moving, If it hits one, it should go back to other,

See if the trolley is jammed against the bolt just in front of the motor unit. If so remove the bolt and then run the opener until the door is closed. While the door is closed locate the 'up limit' control which is on the side of the motor unit. Turn this control 2 complete turns in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Remember to replace the bolt.

Check, The black interruptor cup. See if it has powder from gear on it , Remove particles, And run a Q-Tip between the two little towers on the RPM sensor, Which the interruptor cup rotates into to count rpm cycles.
