start there at the manufacturers website input the required info but that is for support and drivers you could also try to update at windows for any updates and fixes for your version of windows you may of missed http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx or you can try a spyware malware scanning software http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.aspx or any brand/manufacturer you may trust i hope this helps you and please vote for me
www.bootdisk.com try that, but if you had xp on it then get into the bios or press f.1.2 at post & switch it to "boot from cd"(make sure your xp disk is in). It should re-boot & ask to press any key to boot from cd. Continue from there. Trying to put '98 on without a floppy drive can be tricky to say the least. You'll need to find a way to load the windows dos based cd driver, from a cd just to get to the next step of the install. Avoid using 98 unless you really, really need it.
Try to reboot to Windows Safe Mode (press F8 before Windows boots) and remove Adobe from Add-Remove Programs in the Control Panel and delete the file with virus.
Check your PC with online virus scanner (trend.com).
Download Adobe Reader from Adobe and reinstall.
The first thing you do is think back to the last changes you made on your computer before you shut it down.Look at your manual and try starting it in safe mode.If you can delete what ever you loaded last. If that doesn't work load your windows program , by putting it in cd drive and then re-start the computer selecting the cd rom to start your computer and when windows starts loading select" restore". http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084
Orbis can't support net downloads from anything but their personal site
orders. Email their customer service and see if they can help you or
go online with your system and try letting them (or someone/service they recommend) access you remotely to attempt a download with your
key. If nothing else and you have one of their valid keys they should at
least credit you with either a new key or send you a second CD for a nominal postage and copying fee.
Try using device manager and deleting the CD from it, then reboot and let windows do its thing with intalling it again. Let me know if windows does NOT try to reinstall the CD drive or you get any error messages
Do you want to try and see if a 'Linux LiveCD' boots? This is the way I test if the computer works. You burn this CD to a disk, and then boot off of it when you're computer starts. I will not modify anything on your computer as long as you go to 'Try Ubuntu with out installing'
http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download
Don't worry, I'm not trying to get you to install anything, just see if it boots into the 'live environment' (means you are running it off of the cd) If this works, that means that it is only your windows installation is messed up, and a reinstallation of windows should work fine with a Windows install CD NOT the recovery cd.
I think you just got a corrupted bios. Its almost impossible to fix.Try pulling battery and power plug. Press power button for 20 secconds. put everything back and turn it on. If it dosen't work, try bringing it to the place where you bought it and try asking them for help
!. remove all easy-share software. 2. Down load a free image editor such as Google Picasa
Windows does not need software from a camera CD to load images- it simple see camera an a removable drive. A proper editing software is better than any 'get you started stuff' on a Camera CD>
