SOURCE: Engine Control Module Relay

Hi Todd,
I could be dead wrong, but I don't think the ECM has a relay.

What is the problem?

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:

I had the same problem. Replacing the sensor is not gonna help. it is a focus problem. I had to fold a small piece of paper and put it under the sensor to raise it up alittle then you screw it in. The size of the paper you will have to figure out for yourself, but it will help u fix your problem

Cannot email pictures

Why don't you upload your photos to one of the many free photo sharing websites, and merely share the weblink to your photos with your friends. In this manner, both you and your friend's email boxes are not clobbered by these huge files. Here are several good sites.
