Question about Protron PLTV-32 Television

1 Answer

Protron 32 with no power

I'm not sure how to describe the problem--it just won't turn on. I shut the power off of the power strip and then turn it back on and nothing. There does seem to be power to the tv because there is a red light on, but nothing seems to b working. No sound or picture. I've tried resetting the tv, but to no avail. BTW, this is the second tv by this company that I've bought. The first lasted about 7 months, and this noe lasted about 15 months. Needless to say I won't be buying from this company again. Very frustrated here.

Just because you charged the battery it doesn't mean it is any good. Modern sealed batteries fail; just as you described, fine one moment and then nothing, they go open internally.

We had a thunder storm a few days ago and that we lost power and that the pc shut down by it self so the next day we try to turn on the pc so it won't turn on please can you help us

Make sure that all the plugs are plugged in. Try a different outlet, if it's plugged into a surge protector make sure that it didn't trip. Or if is plugged into a regular power strip press the reset button on the side of the strip. If that doesn't work there usually is a fuse inside the PC that might have blown.

Good morning, i was printing and the printer shut

Try to unplug the power adapter from the printer. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet in the wall. Replug the power cord after at least 10 seconds - bypass any power surge devices or power strips. Replug the power adapter into the printer. Your printer should automatically power on, otherwise, press the power button. If the printer still won't power on, please contact Lexmark technical support for additional assistance.

I turned off the pc 3 days ago thru windows XP normal shut down. Now I can not turn it on, I hit the power button but nothing at all.

Hello

First verify the electrical outlet is working by plugging a lamp or something else in.If your using a power strip be sure the little fuse has not popped out or take the power strip out of the line.

Next verify the power cord for the pc is getting power through it,using a vollt meter plug in the line and measure voltage at other end.

last, move rocker switch on the back top of pc to 120 volt position. If none of the above work you will need to open up the case a see if any thing became loose or disconnected.Possible your on off switch is bad on the pc.

My computer will not start up, the LED light on the power unit will not come on. It was working fine. I shut it down so that i could connect it to my TV when i plugged it back in...nothing...please help...

Look on the back of your PC. Is there a switch with a I and O on it? Flip it to O and back to I and try to turn your power back on.
If you are plugged into a power strip you may want to try cycling the power on the strip as well.

My electric furnace smells like burning hair when it kicks on. what can I do? Is my house gonna catch on fire?

Hello
I would shut down the heater and have a look at the filter, sonds like it may need to be changed.

Next have a look at the heating elements and vacum them off once heater cools down.
