House power blinked momentarily while we were watching the Panasonic plasma tv TCP55ST30 The on light continued to be lit but tv remained with black screen inspite of repeated unplugging set and replugging into different wall receptacles and unplugging HMDI cables The off button would not turn off when pressed and when pressing in and holding in the light would blink 14 times repeatedly. We have very good surge protectors for the tv to plug into and a total house suge protector of top quality. What is the problem. The Direct TV box is on and operates normally the bedroom tv at the far end of the house.

had the same problem wih my panasonic, it was a faulty power switch. make sure the power switch is sitting centrally in its housing, if not you may need a new switch
