AL-1540cs Sharp copier....ink strip on copy paper

Do you mean the Sharp AL-1540CS? If so, this unit does not make color copies. It is a monochrome all-in-one laser printer. When you scan a document with the AL-1540CS to your computer, you can print the document in color if you have a color printer.

Hello sir; I like you check the scanner unit, the mirrow does move out when you make a copy, you may easy to find out what cause the mirrow not move out.

THERE ARE TWO CORONA THAT PRODUCES BLANK COPIES, ONE IS IN THE DRUM UNIT ON TOP OF THE DRUM UNIT. THE OTHER IS IF YOU STAND IN FRONT OF THE COPIER OPEN THE COVER TO THE RIGHT, THERE IS A WIRE LOOKS LIKE A GUITAR STRING IF IT IS BROKEN OR MISSING, NEED TO REPLACE. GOOD LUCK

When [L1-00] appears, the scan head
locking switch is locked. Turn off the
power, release the scan head locking
switch, WAIT 10 SECONDS and turn the power back on.

It depends... never use a Reman cart in these machines... only use sharp...especially if the machine is under warranty.

Does this happen when,
Using the Doc Feeder
When making copies from the Glass
Or when you print from a computer (assuming you print from a PC)

If you print something and this happens then it is inside the machine
Probably toner or developer dumping...

Take a few pieces of large white paper and cover the entire glass surface... make a copy is the line there? If so see the answer above... if not then close the top and make a copy with no paper on the glass... is that black line there.. If so then your top needs adjustment...

One more test
If you make a copy using the doc feeder, this black line only occurs when making copies with the doc feed, clean the **** glass, and try again...

i have al-1540cs and it if flashing H then 4

On my SHARP AL-1540CS printer 4 and H blinks alternately and none of the buttons except power is working.
