Question about Legacy Audio Blue Diamond LA580 Car Audio Amplifier
Hello jasper100, Have you opened the unit to take a look inside? Since you dont have a blown fuse we cans assue the a short has not occured. Now I would chect to see if the voltage regulator in the amp has voltage coming from it. It may not in that case you may have to remover the old regulator and put in a new one just to get to the point of properly troubleshooting this amp. I would suggest that you get a schematic for this unit and use a multimeter to look at the voltages in the power supply section and see which sections have no rail voltage (12v supply voltage). I would also advise checking the remote to for regulator failure.
