Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player
When I bought my sansa , I got an instillation CD with it for Rhapsody. I used to use Rhapsody to transfer music to my ipod. Well, when it got full, I erased all the music, vids, and pics. Now, it won't transfer anything! I can't locate the Rhapsody cd to install. I've tried going to 'my computer', and putting the songs in the sansa file, but it says "ERROR". *UGHH!!* Anywho, I don't know what's going on. I also tried to sync the songs via Windows Media player, and it didn't work. Even when I downloaded the Rhapsody program online, it said 'error' when I tried to transfer songs. I tried to transfer pictures, it says that they are transfered, but there is nothing on the ipod. It plugs into the computer fine, and everytime I plug it in, the computer says 'found new hardware. What do I do?
Sounds like you have a few different problems, thankfully its easy to resolve. Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website, select FORMAT when prompted. http://sandisk.com/assets/file/downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe Best of Luck. (this only works with non Rhapsody devices, annotated by an 'R' or the word Rhapsody on back)
