Nokia 6288 My Nokia 6288 no longer sends video messages, when i try it comes up 'Invalid Multimedia Settings' any idea how i get my phone texting again? Multimedia texts still send okay

Multimedia Messaging Service(MMS)

you need to contact your service provider. just tell him/her the model of your phone (which is Nokia N73) and they'll send you settings via text message. just save the settings (you may prompted to enter pin code provided by network) and restart your device.
be sure to activate gprs first before sending multimedia messages..

When sending TEXT Messages it gives error multimediat message settings not defined

you must select the option new text message to write and send text u have selected the multimedia message sending option...for sending multimedia messages,u must have the settings from the service provider..u can obtain it from the service provider by contacting their customer care..

Frusteration with "Invalid multimedia settings" on a Nokia

Hey i had the same problem and found out how to fix it. If it sais "Invalid Multimedia settings. Check settings" then you have to follow these steps:
1. Go to message settings under messages at the main menu
2. Click Text messages
3. Go to Message center in use and select SMS settings

This is how i fixed my problem which was the same as alyluvsskitt's

Cant send sms on nokia 2688

Do you want to sent mms/sms. for sending mms you need to suscribe from your operator and save mms settings on your mobile.
For sms check your message center number with your network provider and input the number in your message setting option.

best thing is to contact your sim operator and check with them if you have the correct settings for sending texts.
there they should give you the correct number to send txts.

Problems with text messaging

Probably configuration problem. Make sure the center number is the one used by your service provider and set Reply via same center number to No.

My Nokia no longer sends text messages

well.. your your multimedia setting is incorrect you must ask your sevice provider he will configure you MMS setting. that's the only way to solve it don't worry it's not a serious problem ... have fun :)
