When not in use, my Treo 755 turns on and then, about 5-10 seconds later, turns off.

-   My T680 turned itself on yesterday and again today.

If I don't touch the keyguard it times out and turns off but after about 10sec it turns on and goes throught the cylce over and over until I pull the battery. Not using BlueTth and the clock is set to Automatically do Nothing.

This could be very draining on the battery.

-   My 680 has just started doing this. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the firmware update as it never did this before. As a result, my battery goes flat very quickly. It also goes out very fast while making a call - though it's a long-life battery, not the standard Palm version. It's not that old, so I would rule out old age - just turning itself on & off repeatedly drains it quickly.-   ThadE

-   I am now on my third brand new Treo (Verizon keeps sending me a new one). They seem fine for a little while, then they start turning off, freezing, and then sometimes they are unable to turn back on. I've had to pull out the battery on several occasions to reset the device. Anyone have more than just a turning off problem?-   shrourke

-   Treo 680 turns on and off. Blue tooth is off. Is anyone aware of software conflicts that would cause this?-   areimche

Sometimes, your bluetooth device may poll (check) for your Treo 755. Also, if you have a data plan, you may have some type of program running in the background.

My Treo 755 also turns on and off even when it's not in the vicinity of my Bluetooth headset. A solution would be helpful as I'm alread dealing with excessive battery drain. Thanks.
