I got the timex-ironman-run-trainer 1.0 gps which is water resistant up to 50 meters. when i went to my first first pool workout of cross country it broke the second it touched the water

Just fixed mine. While plugged in, depress all the buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. It should turn on and show that it is charging. The ticking will stop as well.

Before I would hand any TIMEPIECE I ever
cared about... over to some PIZZA-FACED
**** at the corner **** store...
I would seriously consider spending a few dollarson some WATHMAKERS tools and opening
the device myself...
As soon as AN UNAUTHORIZED person opens
your "IRONMAN" the warranty is VOID.
Just know your options.

Same issue, no need to sync my watch

Go back to the supplier and he should replace the watch or get you the missing part.

If it a model which has two buttons on the face, for next and scroll down. in Chrono mode hold down the left button (scroll down button) and it will ask ot clear segments individually or all. The bad thing about most Timex watches is that once you open them it is very hard to resael them again. The thing is that , the screws are metal, and your trying to tighten them into a plastic back. If you try to tighten them too much you mess up the tap. When the back is first put into the watch there is a very small hole. When they screw them in it's like a wood screw it taps itself in to the back. Once that has been done once it is very hard to keep the same tighteness it started with. Your best bet is to get a watch with a metal screw-on back with a metal casing too. That way you can tourque really hard and make sure the back is tight. If you decide to have the battery changed, make sure they silicon the seal.That's about as much protection agaist water you have with that watch.

Yeah...it took me awhile to figure this one out too.

You can't actually reset the Review function back to zero. Instead, you replace the data with your latest workout.

Here are the steps:
1) turn on heart rate monitor
2) setup HRM zone
3) start chronograph
4) do your workout
5) stop chronograph
6) review your results

Starting the chronograph is the key. This is the step I missed
