Re: pic n pic

You have to have an analog signal plugged in ant-1 input read below

Operation of PIP and POP
You can display programs from analog channels, analog inputs or devices as Picture-In-Picture (PIP) and Picture-
Outside-Picture (POP). The TV has a second analog tuner for non-scrambled analog channels received on Ant-1 and
will display them as the PIP/POP sub-pictures. Digital channels and devices can be shown as the main picture but
cannot be the sub-picture. PC screens can be viewed in the side-by-side mode.
Press PIP/POP to activate. With each press of PIP/
POP on the TV remote control (within 3 seconds of
each other), PIP/POP will cycle through the following
display options:
PICTURE Side-by-Side
* 3 POP
* 9 POP
Aqt-l 2 )O<XX
Stereo SAP
PIP Anhl 17
* PIP large
Stereo SAP
PIP Aqtq 17
* PIP small
Stereo SAP
_ oLsv
* PIP/POP: off
PIP/POP can be turned off, 10 seconds after displaying,
by pressing PIP/POP. The next time you activate PIP/
POP, the last used PIP/POP option will be displayed

Automatic POP Switching
When automatic POP switching is active, the TV will
cycle through memorized channels on Ant-1 or Ant-2 or
strobe pictures from other A/V components in the POP
display. Press PAUSE to pause or restart automatic
POP switching.
Selecting POP "Live" Image
Press ADJUST A, V, _ or • to select a different POP
"live" image (automatic POP switching must be paused.)
Freezing the PIP and Side-By-Side Picture
Press PAUSE to freeze the PIP and side-by-side
images. Press PAUSE again to return to a "live" image.
Side-by-Side cannot show the same channel or
device on both screens.

When Ant-1 or Ant-2 is the main picture, Ant-2 is
not available as the PIP, POP or Side-by-Side.
HDMI and DVI devices can be the main picture only.
PIP/POP is not compatible with signals from IEEE

Can't receive pic and sound with the converter box.

The tv should be on channel 3. Otherwise, you can go to menu on tv, then find "autoprogram" and it will search all available channels. Usually tv should be on channel 3 if hooked up with a coaxil cable and aux or AV or Input if you are using rca jacks.

Mitsubishi CS-31505 TV - UN-memorize QV (Quick View) Channel?

I've learned from a Mitsu tech that there is indeed NO easy (nor logical & user-friendly) way to UN-memorize a QV channel.

However there IS a work-around to accomplish that so that the QV will revert back to its Factory Setting of "Last Channel Recall."

Using the Mitsu remote control:

1. Poke the Menu button.
2. On the Menu, select the "Add/Delete Channels."
3. Select the Antenna (A or B or whichever) and select the channel which was memorized in QV.
4. When that memorized channel number appears, select "Delete."
5. Poke the Menu button again to exit.

The QV memorized channel number is now gone, restoring the QV function to "Last Channel Recall."

NOTE: If that particular deleted memorized channel was also included among the SQV (Super Quick View) channels, it can then be added back into SQV using the Menu and SQV option.

Hope the above helps those who have encountered the same issue.

Channnel keeps flicking like your changing channels with remote

when you say flickering??? are you saying the screen goes black and comes back on?? does the sound go out at the same time and comes bag on with the pic ? Is the sound there when this happens but is distorted. Is the pic blacked out or is it greying out with lines and twisting?? Need more info please as if its blacking out and the sound goes with it it may be going into shutdown. If the pic is getting kinda greyish with it twisting and the sound is there and ditorted then the tuner could be bad
