If you turn the remote over and take the back off you will see a red button, on the console there is a small opening open it and you will see the same button , at the same time hit both of the buttons. if that doesn't work then you need either a new remote or new batteries. hope this helps.

Cant use the remote

The remote has to be sync'd with the wii properly. If you sync it with another wii you have to sync it back.

Open the battery cover on the wii remote.
Open the front cover door in the middle front.

In each you will see a Red circle sync button in the remote and a rectangle button above the memory slot on the wii front.

Turn on wii, press the sync button on front of wii, then press sync button on remote, the remote should then get a signal and blue lights on front show player #. If not, turn off and try again. Once sync'd it will work with that Wii.

Remotes wont work light up but wont stay on ,hit

The red button, is a sync button and not a reset button. You can try resyncing your wii remotes to your wii follow these steps:

  1. Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it on.

  2. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up.

  3. Press and release the SYNC button on the inside of the SD Card compartment on the console. Press and release the SYNC button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote.

  4. When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).
You must have batteries in when pressing the red sync button on the wii remote, if your using the wii remote charger system, you must remove it and use batteries until this step is done

Hope this helps. Owen

My wii remote keeps flashin but wont trun on

You have to sync the Wii remote to the console.
To sync the Wii remote, turn on your Wii. Then open the back of the remote and press the "SYNC" button. Then open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of your Wii and press the "SYNC" button. Your remote should be turned on if you do this.
If this problem still occurs even when the Wii remote is synced, your Wii remote might not be working properly. Return it for a new one.

My wii remot can turn on and i can push a and b but the wii remote wont work when i play baceball or boling. for exampol my avatar wont swing the bat when i play baceball.

Make sure the batteries are not worn down. If the sensor bar is in really bright light it will not work. Close the curtains so there is not lots of sunlight. Unplug the sensor bar and plug it back in again. You could try to re synch the remote, open up the wii remote battery pack and press the red button at the top once. Then quickly press the red button on the inside of the SD Card flap on the wii. If this problem persists try to get a new remote, or better contact customer services if these solutions don't work. Info is in the Wii manual.
