Can drinking water with lemon prevent kidney stones? Also, I have been told not to drink city water. What is the best water to drink?

Sadly no lemon is a prophylactic for scurvy or Vit C deficiency. drinking plenty of fluid is very good for the renal system but depends on the viscosity of the water or in other words the mineral content. preventing kidney stones is down to good diet exercise and fluids.

Drinking only plain water will also improve our health and prevents kidney stones as well.

One-half cup of lemon juice concentrate added to drinking water over the course of the day is a preventive therapy for calcium oxalate stone formation.
As for city water, it is safe to drink but the concern is with water softened using a sodium ion exchange. Softened water should not be used for cooking, drinking, or for ice dispensers.

common problem the water line inside the freezer door is frolzen up . to fix remove everthing from the freezer door , turn off freezer . open freezer door and put a blanket over the opening to the freezer leaveing the door to room temp for an hour or so to defrost . check if defrosted . remove blanket close door . this will happen with ge , try seyying the freezer control on the next lower number (warmer)

Pull the water jug and open the top of the unit. Look for frozen water. May need repaired or adjusted to keep water from freezing.

Can you drink to much lemon water like 2 liters a day?


the amount of water need depends on the conditions and body stress
if you are out side in heat then 2 liters of water may not be enough but inside in the cool 1 liter may be too much
If the lemon water is prepared from water and lemon juice , it probably will not be harmful as the body needs something more than water to keep the electrolytes correct
If it is a staminade or power aid drink , then yes 2 litres is far too much
straight water is the best

However, drinking too much cranberry juice can cause some side effects such as mild stomach upset and diarrhea. Children: Cranberry juice is LIKELY SAFE for children when taken by mouth as a food or drink.

Aspirin allergy: Cranberries contain significant amounts of salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is similar to aspirin. Avoid drinking large quantities of cranberry juice if you are allergic to aspirin.

Inflammation of the stomach lining (Atrophic gastritis): Cranberry juice might increase how much vitamin B12 the body absorbs for people with atrophic gastritis.

Diabetes: Some cranberry juice products are sweetened with extra sugar. If you have diabetes, stick with cranberry products that are sweetened with artificial sweeteners.

Low stomach acid (hypochlorhydria). Cranberry juice might increase how much vitamin B12 the body absorbs for people with low levels of stomach acid.

Kidney stones: Cranberry juice and cranberry extracts contain a large amount of a chemical called oxalate. In fact, there is some evidence that some cranberry extract tablets can boost the level of oxalate in the water works by as much as 43%.
