Re: bosh exxcel dishwasher heater problem

Check with multi-meter for power on the heating element's tags. If it does get power, you should replace the heating element. In case of no power- you should replace the thermostat. Good luck!

The machine does not heat up

Bosch dishwashers do not have a heated dry option, the water is heated with a inline water heater but it does not have a heating element to dry the dishes. Make sure that you use jet dry and that you open the door when it is done, after an hour or so the dishes will be dry. This is a common issue with the Bosch dishwasher, but not a problem with the unit

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with check the water inlet valve which is located behind the lower access panel on the left or right side of the Dishwasher. If the water inlet valve is bad you have to replace it, also check the main water line for clogs/obstructions. If still the issue is not resolved then it’s a bad float switch and needs to be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

The water in our bosh S9F1B dishwasher does not heat up. The programme seems to work ok, just the pots are cold.

check the water coming into.the unit. must be acertain degrees. the heater will only heat up to a certain degrees .ex if you have cold water going to machine the heater may make it warm.

Diswasher will not fill clock stays at 130 an

This is either a fill fault or a heater fault, for fill fault check side fill chamber is not blocked with fat, for heater check heater, if heater does not activate then the fault is on the PCB programmer, this model often suffers from faulty soldered connections on the pcd, remoce and inspect if required resolder joint.
