Parental control code

The only AIWA unlock procedure I have heard of is this:
Using the original remote, simultaneously hold the #7 on the remote and the volume down control on the set. This may work.

explanation of step 4 in previous solution(for DVD parental control...not TV channel v-chip control):

PARENTAL LEVEL
Parental Level allows you to set the rating level of
your DVD discs. Playback will stop if the disc’s ratings
exceed the level you set.
1 Press SETUP twice in STOP mode so that
the QUICK SETUP menu appears.
¡If the menu does not appear, press PLAY, STOP,
then SETUP twice.
2 Press Arrow L to select “CUSTOM”, then
press ENTER.
3 Press Arrow (K/L) to select “PARENTAL”,
then press ENTER.
4 Enter your four-digit password then press
ENTER.

IF YOU FORGET THE PASSWORD
1 Press 4, 7, 3, 7 at step 4. Then enter your
new password.
¡Password will be cleared and parental level will be
set to ALL.

If you unplug the power cord or power failure
occurs, the changed access code will be lost and
will return to default (0000). Change your access
code again as necessary.

ok first go to the DVD setup which should be located near the bottom of the remote is says SETUP. Then it will give you a list of options go to the one with the parental code one. Then you should try and change the password. My tvs old password was 8888 but I am not sure if it is the same on all tv's. If it is right then you should be able to change the password to whatever you want! I hope this helps anyone who sees this response!
