Hi Buddy
I know infact i faced the same problems after buying Compaq Presario c 700.Its very hard to find the drivers on hp's website.
Where as you need to download sp36090.exe,sp33443.exe, sp32395.exe and sp38314.exe.

In case you are facing any trouble let me know i'll send it to you.

Hmm, you can get to Compaq website, then select support, and next type your model - presario c700, then choose from a long list. I cant see the soundrivers there, but there is -hp software update- , maybe it will find driver through internet.

You need to download the drivers from the Compaq/HP WEB support/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the XP or Vista Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Click on this link to download the drivers: -
