Question about Televison & Video
Our neighbor has asked us to take her old (1997) Sony tv to the dump. The picture works great but there is no sound. Our son would love to have this tv to play games on and watch movies. Is there an easy fix? Or, do you think it would be wise to pay to have a repair shop take a look? Maybe the dump is a good place for it??? We live in a remote area and the nearest shop is about 150 miles away. Thank you
Your problem is the MTS board they may still available

This sony had problems with tuner and a little small sound board that stands up on the main board. If you know how to solder you could repair. If not you need help from tech.
