My printer want respond: It says i have a communication error.

I have the same problem on 2 of my IP's - did you manage to sort it out?

The flashing status of the WiFi light on the printer indicates that it's either trying to connect to a wireless network or it has gotten disconnected from your wireless network.
A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, check the WiFi light status. Try to print again.

Follow these steps to reset the printer:

1. Turn the printer off with the Power button (if available).

2. Disconnect the data cable from the printer (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared) .

3. Unplug the printer's power cord for approximately 10 minutes, and then plug it back in. If troubleshooting a communication issue, reconnect the data cable (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared).

How may red lights are flashing?

1 red light normally E74 error message on screen

2 red lights overheating

3 red lights the GPU and the CPU have overheated.

4 red lights is the AV cable not plugged in properly.

You can fix the 1, 2, 3, red lights yourself or send it in for a fix

Communication error is saying that the computer & printer is not communicating. Try uninstalling the driver/software and then download updated drivers/software for the o/s you are using from the support link on epson.com. Install the updated drivers/software and see if it works. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem. I had moved my printer and when I hooked it all back up, there was an annoying clicking sound, the "in use/memory" light was flashing and there was no communication with my pc.

This is a tad embarassing, but if it helps someone, so be it lol. I had plugged everything in without looking.... my usb cable was plugged into the phone jack >.<.

Check all your connections.... then check them again ;)
