1. If you have enabled AutoSync, everytime the iPod
is connected, the iPod will sync all your files. It is not only the
songs that are copied. It also copies the videos, photos and contacts
too. Maybe it was trying to sync them.
2. Even if it had really done with sync of all songs, video, photos and
contacts, it will always show the message "Do not disconnect". What you
will have to do is click on the eject button in the iPod icon which
appears in iTunes. The iPod will be ejected only when you eject it from the iTunes.
It should automatically switch to the headset mode when you put headphones into the headset port on the top.
Try other headsets or go into itunes and select to restore your iphone. It will sync everything over again, but might fix a software fault.
If neither of those things help, take it to your local apple store or call them on 1800 My Apple (US phone number).
Hope that helps. If it gave you a little information, please rate accordingly :)
Hi if you are having head phone are giving you different sound from different head phones you have a head phone jack that is not connection properly. Some times the head phone jack can be replaced and that will fix it. other times the whole main board will have to be replaced due to a chip on the main board is whats causing the sound to change like it does. Try moving the jack around by twisting it and moving it from side to side while in the players whole. If the sound seems to change, start working on both side or you get static. as long as the sound you are getting is not staying the same then I would say its the head phone jack itself. It the sound stays the same witch is sounds like ti doesn't from what you have stated then it would be the main board. Either way something needs to be repaired.

have you tried other headphones or earphones some headphones lose connection in the wire and will cause a short where one side works and the other doesnt if this is not the problem may have a lose jack on the inside of the player and will probably have to have it serviced
The input for the head phone is a 32 ohm input. You need to get the proper 32ohm headphone for it. It seems that you tryed others but there are 16 ohms and 32ohms headphones. But if they do not work then it is your input connection or the device if your headphones work on other devices. You should bring the product back as a faulty device to the store and exchange it with your reciept then. For the headphone that works on one side it can be the headphone jack that does not fit properly into the hole input (female jack). The one side does not touch or connect for it to work. It happens to cheap headphones and some good ones too. The male jacks on the headphones are slightly off it specification size by a small amount that it is not noticed by the naked eye, so it does not get a good connection.Try another head phone if you haven't tryed that
Flip the Sansa face down with the headphone jack to the left. Take the cover off the battery then remove the 2 screws by the sync port. This frees up the plastic that covers the last screw. But before you can remove this piece you need to lift the 2 black tabs in the middle and slide your nail between the seam between the black and silver areas near the hold button. The rest comes apart easy or the couple I have fixed the headphone jack have.
