Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional With Servise Pack 2 (e8503040) for PC
My computer is corrupted with strong virus & i dontknow what is that &how to get rid of it.b'coz of this there is booting problem ,and most of the times i have to install window media again & again .I will be thankfull to u .
If you have an anti virus installed, turn off system restore and then, restart your pc but press F8 while it's booting and get into safe mode, highlight start windows in safe mode, press enter and run the antivirus programme, if you dont have one then download a free one from here http://filehippo.com/download_avg_antivirus/

I think u are using so many disks and pen drives from others. So don't bring any file from other's pc. bcoz each time you brings any file or any data from others virus comes with it and to solve it i suggest you to Formate your HARDDISK fully. I think it will solve your problem. If not Please Inform. Thanks

Reboot the computer As the computer is booting repeatadly press the F8 key as the computer is booting
If done properly the user should get to a screen similar to the below screen.
Select the option for Safe mode command prompt only
Windows Advanced Options Menu
Please select an option:
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Enable Boot Logging
Enable VGA mode
Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)
Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
Start Windows Normally
Return to OS Choices Menu
Use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice
select the safe mode option
then run your antivirus if still cant get rid of the virus restart again
