Re: problem in pc

If you have an anti virus installed, turn off system restore and then, restart your pc but press F8 while it's booting and get into safe mode, highlight start windows in safe mode, press enter and run the antivirus programme, if you dont have one then download a free one from here

I think u are using so many disks and pen drives from others. So don't bring any file from other's pc. bcoz each time you brings any file or any data from others virus comes with it and to solve it i suggest you to Formate your HARDDISK fully. I think it will solve your problem. If not Please Inform. Thanks

Computer very slow ,won't print, forever to load pages, have corrupted files

Several things can slow down the computer: overheating, spyware, not enough RAM etc. If you know for sure you have corrupted files were they corrupted by a virus? You may need to reinstall Vista.

Is it slow when you boot up in safe mode? To boot into safe mode hit (usually) F8 while it is booting up. Let it completely boot into safe mode and then reboot again. Now is if it is behaving better.

To get rid of spyware download the free Spybot Search & Destroy from the net, run the update and then run it to dectect and get rid of the spyware. Spyware tries to send info which can slow down everything.

Overheating - does it feel hot? Is the fan running and pushing air?

If it worked fine before it is unlikely you don't have enough RAM. Windows itself needs at least 256mbs to run well without running other problems.

Again if you know files are corrupted, if they are windows files, you might need to reinstall vista.

My OS is Vista. It keeps kicking me off Chat, then comes back online for maybe 5-10 seconds, then off again. . . . continuously. This just started about 3-4 weeks ago. To my friends it appears that I...

Try the following solutions.
  1. Most certainly your computer is infected with Virus or Malware. The symptoms are there.I strongly recommend a good Anti Virus to be installed on your PC and it should be updated before scanning and cleaning you PC.
  2. If the same situation persists uninstall the Yahoo messenger and get a Yahoo messenger of a different version from the internet. The latest being Yahoo version 11. You Yahoo messenger software on your Vista might be corrupt.
  3. You need to get a good Registry cleaning software to clean the registry which might be corrupt or may have wrong or missing entries for Yahoo messenger.
  4. If the problem still persists try repairing Vista which is final option. Insert the Windows Vista DVD in your DVD player and a splash screen will appear which will display a "Repair" option select it. If the splash screen does not appear insert the Vista DVD in the DVD player and restart your machine. Make sure you have selected your DVD drive on top priority on the computer BIOS setup. and when the message appears Press any key to boot from DVD. Press any key and the setup will start the select Repair Windows Vista option.

How to get rid of trojans and cookies on your

Use strong antiviruses with latest definition update. If you are looking for a strong free antivirus I recommend Mcaffee Virusscan 8.5.0i or Kaspersky 2009. Mcafee is my favourite 'cause you can prohibit any program you want from accessing your computer. Download the virus definition separately (the latest version is SDAT 5808 , of 11/23/09), if you have a slow internet connection. This is because the softwares in built updater fails to update for the first update because it finds the file to be very huge.

You should have an antivirus program always running on your computer. If you have one it should be able to get rid of the virus. If you don't have one or you have one but it can't get rid of the virus, try AVAST. It is free at Once you install avast, it will want to run a sweep before your computer restarts. That is the best way to get rid of a virus, before the virus is activated.
