ERROR CODE E24

E24 is linked to a drain error. You need to get the water out of the bottom and remove the filter by unscrewing it and it will raise up. Get all the water out of the bottom and you will see 3 grooves in the bottom sump area. Make sure nothing is blocking these. On the left side in the bottom you will see a cover and 1 screw.Remove this screw and lift the cover up and make sure nothing is blocking the pump and see if you can turn it by hand . If all of this looks ok the next thing to check is where the unit drains out under the sink. Take the drain line loose and see if anything is clogged where it drains into to the plumbing. Hope this helps and please remember to click accept

Commercial cool room air conditioner draining onto the floor model # CPRB08XCJ-T

This website has got to stop letting just anyone answer questions. All 3 of these answers were completely unrelated and not helpful for this person asking the question. They didn't even look up the model number to understand what type of unit this is. I realize it's a very old question, but I'm sure even today there are people giving ignorant answers just as these 3 did.
***back of unit, very bottom, there's a drain hose connection. It's supposed to have a rubber plug in it and a plastic cap screws on over that. Hose isn't necessary to drain, if draining is needed as this unit evaporates the water through the exhaust. But water will build up under certain circumstances. Periodically check and drain by 1. Sit unit on something to elevate it high enough to put a container underneath to catch water. Make sure to sit unit on something very sturdy or take it outside and let it drain out on the ground, it's just water. 2. Remove cap and rubber plug. Water will drain. 3. Replace cap and plug when water stops draining, that is all.

Water running inside the a/c and down the wall. I do not see any drain holes on the bottom of this unit to let the water drain outside. Model M7X05F2B-D Alex

In the drain pan under the unit (the part that is outside the window), there is a drain hole, that drains the accumulated moisture/water. It's clogged and that's why you can't see it. Or it may be a small gap in the rear of the drain pan, that' s supposed to do the same thing. If the unit is sitting perfectly level (front to back), the water does not drain well. A slight slope helps.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem.

Ruud model # UGDG-10NBRJR does this unit have a pump for the water condensation to force it out. Unit leaks out the bottom. Or is the line blocked.

Generally speaking there is no pump to pump out the water. There are exceptions if the unit must drain through the attic for example. However these pumps are accessories that sit outside the unit. I would suspect a blocked drain first of all.

Frigidaire FDP635RFR3 wont drain.

Theres a drain pump located at the bottom of the unit if you follow the hose from the pump then to the drain if your unit isnt draining you might have to call for service from a technician to have them change your drain pump. If the water is just sitting inside the unit and when u start the unit it should fill with water again. Also if you have a cancel function by pressing this you will make the unit drain if you dont hear anything when u press the cancel button you definetly need a pump

DIshwasher doesn't drain. 3-4 inches of water sits in the bottom

A clog in the drain line or air gap (if there is one) is the usual reason that a dishwasher won't drain. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. If you remove this line, you can clear any debris from the hose or hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again.

Many dishwashers use a drain valve with an electric solenoid. When electricity flows to the solenoid, the valve opens and diverts the water to the drain. Sometimes the solenoid, or the diverting lever, sticks and prevents the dishwasher from draining or filling properly. Try to free up the solenoid to lubricate the lever. Otherwise, you may have to replace the solenoid or pump assembly. With these systems, the motor always rotates in one direction. When it's energized, the drain valve diverts the water.

Other dishwashers simply reverse the direction of the motor to drain the dishwasher. These units don't have a drain valve. Instead, there's a drain hose connected directly to the pump housing.

Kenmore AC 58067081. Have water draining out front. Think it's clogged, but where are the drain holes. Nothing in manual... I've taken off the front grill, and shop vac'd up the water sitting in the bottom...

If you can slide the unit out, there is a drain tube or drain hole from the front tray under the coil that directs the water into the rear of the unit to drain out the hole. That tube needs to be blown out or flushed. It's most likley plugged. You only need to add the drain pipe if you want to direct the drain water away from where it drips now.
