Window unit will not power up

It is a one year old frigidare heat pump unit, got power at plug and reset works but the digital display will not come on, havent used it in about 6 months.

You need to check for voltage to the display. Just knowing the plug is working doesn't tell you that the electronics are getting power. It is possible that the power cord is bad. Once you have tested the unit and the unit is actually getting power to the display, then it's probably the control board in this unit.
