SOURCE: i need the installation disk for sansa m240

The player has 2 modes. MTP and MSC or something like that. Check the menus on the device and set it to the other one.

MSC is what worked for mine

How do you delete songs on an m240 mp3 playerr when you cant see them

Are they visible in the m240 player? If not, are they visible when you plug it into your USB port to view them in Explorer on your computer?

Make sure you have put your m240 player in MSC mode before plugging into your computer by going to Settings>USB and clicking on MSC. Otherwise, you won't be able to view any of the m240 content on your computer.

Usb cord, I lost it.

What is the type of USB cable that you need? Is it type A to mini B or type A to micro B?

Here, I provided you the link where you can see the different types of USB cables:

I hope this would help.

Have a great day!

I lost the cable connecting the m240 player to the PC

bring the mp3 player and say that you lost your USB cable and that you'd like to buy a new one fr it... The person will probably inspect the port on your mp3 player and then look for one
