Dear, after changing the cartridge, printer print a test print. OKAY. Take that test print and put it on the scanner (printed area should on the side of mirror) then press "scan" button on your printer "bottom left". When the light stop fluctuating. Keep out the paper from the scanner. After this Printer will work properly

I have changed out my black ink cartridge and now it says Attention: Print head loose, missing or not installed correctly.

Had exactly the same issue - working fine until ink cartridge changed (kodak for kodak - not a copy). Then can only get 'print head error message'.
Multiple attempts to remove and re-install, power on/off etc. but can't shift the error message. New print head more expensive than a new printer!

What is wrong with my HP Deskjet D2330, and why is it printing only blank pages?

well it has got to be the ink cartridge. wipe of the bottom of it and make sure black ink shows up

Black wont print,whereas all colours are okay. Supposed it was as I had been in hospital for 3 months and ink had dried up, changed ink cartridge but to no avail.

1. The printer head is clogged.

2. What happens when you try to print the Windows Test page? Does it only print the Windows Flag and nothing else?
Does the copy option work on the printer? (can you copy something or does it come out blank as well)

I need color documents from my x2500 lexmark printer

Okay if your using windows OS go to control panel , then printer and fax icon open it you will see Lexmark printer series listed right click on it and go to printing preference tab ,uncheck print all documents in black and white click okay and then try to print....

Black and white not printing correctly, color is fine

If you are not using Epson ink, your printer will do this. Epson printers hate knock-off ink. Always use Epson ink if you want to keep your printer working properly. To solve the problem you are having, try cleaning the ink tubes. Make sure you re-install them properly. Hope this helps. Charlene

Print not working on my brother MFC-665CW

Do you have several attempts showing in your print que? Go to control panel, then printers, the double click on your Brother printer icon. See if there are documents stacked up. If they are, Windows will not send anything to the printer until all documents are printed in order. I hope this fixes your problem. Thanks for using

Ink cartridge problems

exchanged the black cartridge (57): the printer told me there was a problem with it, that I should remove it and re-insert it. I did, the ink button still blicks. After several efforts the printer started to work again, printed one document and then told me there was a problem with the colour cartridge. I removed it, re-inserted it several times. Finally a test page was printed - everything was okay.

Then the printer refused to print anything - the yellow LED lamp blicks continuously. Have turned the printer on and off, have also shut down the computer and re-started.

The only thing that will work now is the black cartridge, if I remove the colour one.

Can't print documents from Word.

Did you do a test print by pressing ink testprint etc.? Do you have all colors incl. BK? If yes, check the printersetting WITHIN Word. Is the mfc the printer to be recognized by Word or is it another one? If you miss the bk upon the test sheet try to clean the ink cart by help of pressing ink arrow-down-button (cleaning) and (blue) start mono. If there is no or not enough ink check the cart. In case you use third party ones, use an original brother cart and do the cleaning twice. Third party carts do make a lot of trouble due to malconstruction!

Slow Printing

Hi, The slow printing issue can occure even if the cartridges are out or low in ink try to check the print function by the stand alone unit by printing a self test page Here are the steps to print a self test page: On the front panel of the product, press Menu (or Setup) . Press the Right Arrow until Print Reports displays, and then press Enter, Start, or OK . Press the Right Arrow until Self-Test Report displays, and then press Enter, Start, or OK . If the self test page takes less time to print and if all the color blocks and black block print fine the ink level are fine. if the time for self test is also more try to clean the cartridge contacts and replace the cartridges if needed this will fix the issue. If the printer works fine as stand alone self test and copy try to performe the steps in the below webpage: ========== ========== If the issue is still un fixed try to set the print directly settings in the printer properties Click on start >> control panel >> printer and faxes >> there look for the HP printer icon with the check mark and right click on it and select properties and then click on advance tab and under it select the print directly to printer and click on apply and ok to save the settings.
