I pressed some wrong button on control trying to use DVD. Now nothing works except the power. I have pressed reset
button and unplugged TV for 15 minutes.
I am trying to get it to go on vidio 6 to watch TV,
Instructions say TV must be on "setup" channel to work., and to use Mode button to go to "setup"
I find a setup button at top of the polaroid remote. Is that the one to use? On the Direct TV remote is a button that moves right or left. On the left is a directv logo. I leave it set on that. Is that the "mode" button?

- There is a infrared Red light that is on when the TV is in OFF mode. Very annoying when you are trying to sleep.If there a way to turn it off?- ester822

- I have the same problem , i was using the directv remote to control my dvd player and must have pressed a wrong button now the only button that works on the remote for the tv is the power button. And the only button that works on the actual tv is the power button as well. The volume,channel,menu and input buttons on the tv are not working. The sound and picture are fine because i switched the inputs from the dvd to directv and no problems.I called Polaroid and they said i could send them my tv and they would send me a refurbished one for $300 but i feel there is a easy fix but they just wont tell me how to do it. Any help would be appreciated , i lost the actual remote a few months ago not sure if buying another one would solve the problem. - dpasternak15Aug 15, 2008

I have Polaroid TV Monitor HDMI LCD 15.4" no power light on TV, blank screen, the power adaptor is Ok 12VDC supply. I need suggestion; in any possible problem or parts busted?

Our new Polaroid flat sceen has the built-in DVD player, for some reason the DVD will not play. All it shows is "No SIgnal".

If your television is programmed to that remote, then, at the top of the remote, change the switch that moves right to left to TV. Find the button that says Input and press it until it goes to video 6 on the Television.
Then turn the switch that moves from right to left to cable to operate the cable box.
Normally, on most televisions there is an input button on the set that can be pushed to get to the input you want.

Bought a new POLAROID mod FLM 3238 hd tv. Have direct tv with a D11-300 receiver and an RC23 remote. I can not control the power, sound or mute with the RC23 remote. I have to use the Polaroid remote to control these. This means that I have to use two remotes to control one device. I've called direct tv and POLAROID techs. many times and they can not figure out the problem. The guy that installed the direct tv said that if I would have bought any other brand other than POLAROID, the RC23 would work. I have a feeling that I need the right setup code(which no one seems to know). Could anyone help me with this problem?
