Question about Denon Dns1000 Table Top CD Player CD Player
Tonight one of my Denon DN-S 1000 cd players went haywire at a party. It kept telling me "disk error" and making a whinning noise until I ejected the cd. It would play some cd intermittendly. It even stopped completely in the middle of a song. I thought it may have been dirty disks, but cleaning them didn't make a difference. Of, course my warranty is expired. HELP!!!
This is a normal problem with these players. Trust me I own two of them. There is an overheating problem with them. they usually oveerheat after about 3 hours. I usually just throw on a long mix and let the other player cool off. Check the unoffical Denon forums and you will see that this has been a problem for years.

There is not an over heating problem with these decks. It is usually because the cd disc itself gets very warm/hot and the laser has a problem reading the data from it. There is an update that helped address some of these reading problems. Please visit www.denoindjforums for further help.
