Hey Lachlan, I have a H14R that is doing exactly the same thing, I don't suppose you bought it off ebay from "coolmansurplus"? I sent mine in for warranty and was told that it is not genuine. It is a very good copy! When I purchased it I checked it against all the tell tale signs but it appeared genuine. Looks like I wasted my cash. I am going to try replacing the chip but it won't be easy:/
I didn't use the web b2cled.com previous. But I bought a led lamp from depotoffice.com and aurabuy.com. Both of them are good for us to choose a led flashlight. Especially the aurabuy, the price is affordable and the quality is warranty. http://www.aurabuy.com/flashlights-lights-lasers/headlamps.html
