Question about Operating Systems
I spent hours trying to figure this out and clueless now... i can't log into flickr with my yahoo ID... but i am able to do access my flickr account from my work computer. Basically i get to a page that says that i couldn't log in cause i don't have cookies enabled... i tried turning off my antivirus, i opened my browser to see how the cookies are set and that is fine... i tried opening a new browser... i tried deleting cookies... i tried accepting 3rd party cookies, i came to the conclusion that somehow it has something to do with yahoo. I went to post a question on yahoo's "Ask a Question" and received an email stating that someone answered my question... but i was not able to see it... part of the answer is in the email... but when i go to click on read more.... it takes me to my page where my question is posted and says there are NO responses to my question. I have also tried running my spyware programs that result in no spyware is on my comp.. my yahoo messenger works fine... the only change that i made is that i switched ISP from cable company to AT&T last week .. ihave also sent several emails to flickr with no success or real answer to my problem.
OK try deleting EVERYTHING from you C:\Windows\temp.. Better still run "Disk Clean Up" and get everything. Also delete all ya old "Cookies" & "Settings". Try another "Browser" Often one of the below "Browsers" will work when one of the other don't. try Firefox, www.firefox.com Also Opera is great too. www.opera.com Ensure you have IE7 installed if ya use Internet explorer, and ALL updates..
