How on earth do I print on a CD disk. Not explained in the online manual! Can't find no software??

Here basic tips explaining how to use a computer printer.

Before using the printer for the first time you will need to install the driver software.

Driver software is provided with the new printer, and it is usually stored on a CD.

Insert printer CD into computer disk drive. Do not connect the printer until prompted by the setup wizard.

If you have misplaced the original disk, then you can download the printers drivers from manufacturer's website for free, click here to get a list of printer manufacturer support websites where to download manuals, drivers and software.

Once the printer is installed, if printer is new, you may need to insert the ink cartridge. In that case refer to link above to download the manual, as procedure is different depending on printer make and model.
Depending on printer model you may have to perform an alignment procedure after installing inks.

Once printer is connected you can print a test page. If you have Windows this is printable from Control Panel>Printers. Click right button of mouse on your printer icon and select Properties from drop down menu. There you will find the Print Test Page button.

To print an ordinary document, open the document with the associated program and choose print from menu bar.
