Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

Troubleshooting when i turn on my sansa it does but it doesnt go anywher else besides the sandisk screen thing help please

Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website. Make sure you select "format" when prompted. http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downl... You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool. - Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds) - slide the hold switch into "hold" position. - Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer. Then run the recovery tool. Best of Luck.

Sansa e250R - Will pwr up but only freezes on screen that says..."Sansa Rhapsody"

Help rhapsody and sansa not working

Sansa wont work


Download the Sansa firmware upgrader and install it first. Then, hold in the volume + button on your Sansa player and connect the Sansa to your computer (while it is in the OFF position). The computer will recognize the player after you continue holding the volume + button for 5-50 seconds. Restart your computer. You will lose all files stored on the Sansa, but it will work again.

Please try to reset the device by holding the power button for about 15 to 20 seconds..that should reset the device...If that doesnt help go to the sandisk website to download the firmware application...
