Your talking about the TRANSFER BELT which puts the image on the media (paper). When the last time the machine had a PM done on it?? Part of the PM is replacing the belt. PM are done every 100000 and 200000 prints there is 100K PM kit and 200K PM kit when its ready for the 200 PM kit you put a 100 and 200 PM kit. And unless you know what you are doing have a tech do it as it takes about three hours to do. The PM kits do not include the DRUMS 4 and developer 4 one for each color

somewhat yes. i use a d-link cf 802.11b card with my netgear access point. If you want the most flexibility you may want to get an orinoco gold pcm-cia card (assuming you have a pc card adapter). orinoco makes a great card.
If you have a Windows 2000 or XP machine you use the Remote Desktop feature to display the desktop on the P/PC.
I think you need to download this from Microsoft.

I use this feature over my network on my desktops. Tough I'm looking for a P/PC to use myself, instead of getting a new laptop.
Don't think about playing games or videos, though :)
