Amana SGD22TL freezer waterline

We removed the valve etc. on back of fridge and cleaned out the clogged part to the freezer water line and now we are not sure how to put it back together, plus now the water line to the water dispenser does not shut off. We have a little black rubber ring where we are not sure where it came from.

Oogie,
The water solenoid valve is not designed to be taken apart to clean it. I have done it but I have done repairs for 30+ years and in most cases the valve still has problems. The valves are meant to be replaced not repaired. In my experience I would never trust the integrity of the valve that has been taken apart. The cost of the floor in your house is not worth what you save on the price of a new valve.
I hope I helped.

Daewoo frsu20dci fridge freezer, hiya, hope you can help. Our fridge freezer is making ice and dispensing ice but no water is coming out of the water dispenser when pressed. Help!!!

Check your water filter. They are known for clogging up. If that doesn't work...check your water inlet valve.. if that doesn't work check to see if you have a pinch in your waterline.

How to connect water line to water inlet valve

The brass ring cannot be reused. You cannot buy it separately but it is inside any 1/4" fittings available in your local adware store.
be sure to cut the end of the waterline and install the ring on a Fresh section. Also, make sure the waterline is lined up with the valve inlet before trying to tighten up.

Automatic ice maker not receiving water to make ice. Checked and clean line from water supply valve to refrigerator. Checked ice maker and all seems well/normal.

first thing to check is the waterline going into the fridge, unhook the waterline and see if water is coming out. make sure you locate the shutoff before you take it apart!! if you have water going to the fridge then you could have a frozen line issue or an ice maker issue. more than likely the saddle valve got clogged up with something. close the saddle vale all the way then open it back up and test it then.

My refrigerator door is not closing tight - and water is leaking from the freezer.

Definitely a clogged drain line. you will need to remove the back wall and pour hot water into the bottom middle in the back of the freezer compartment, one glass at a time, until it drains through to the drip pan at the bottom of fridge. It is a messy job but the results will save a good fridge.

Good Luck

Hooked up waterline to side by side frigiedaire,

Your inlet tube that goes to the icemaker may be frozen. To Check: Shut off water supply to Fridge, disconnect the water line that goes to the icemaker at top back. Use a flexible item to insert in the water line connection. I used a zip tie. If the flexible item won't all the through to the ice maker, the line is frozen. Thaw out the tube from inside the freezer with a hair dryer. Re-connect everything, you now have ice . . . Solution #2: You may have to replace your "Water Inlet Valve" located at bottom right rear of Fridge. Easy to do, just follow the color codes, be sure and shut off the water.

Whirlpool refrigerator waterline is clogged

go to the back of the ref, trace the incoming water line, it should go to a two pc solenoid valve. if you press water at the front, one of the solenoid should click. the one that didn't click is the one for the ice maker. see if you can detach the water line that comes out of that solenoid. that line goes to the ice maker. you can flush it with water to clean it. be aware that a lot of water would be overflowing inside the ice maker . i hope i was able to solve your problem..

How do we access the waterline inside the freezer door?

The waterline comes out the lower door hinge. Unhook from coupler at bottom. Now go to the despencer and carefully take the cover off some have screws under drip plate or clipped which a flathead screw driver works nicely dont scratch finish. With proper water line usualy 1/8 size about 5foot long snake it down to the bottom hinge and rehook up. In some case if the tube gets kinked you may have to remove door to do it it. Usually pretty easy.
