Icom IC-A110B25 760 Channel Commercial Base Station channel program, how

IS this a frequency issue? A modulation issue? You dont have enough information on the problem. The radio receives other signals fine? What is the frequency and mode?

This is a commercial radio and often, the programming for the is not as easy as with an Amateur radio. I haven't worked on this radio specifically, but I do remember with the commercial radios that I repaired that often there was a jumper that had to be removed or installed to be able to program them. This prevented the customer from getting into the programming and screwing things up, plus it is ******* for them to do this unless they are licensed to work on commercial radios. My guess is you have to find out if this is in fact the case. A good place to look for radio manuals is www.mods.dk.

Hi, the problem is you only have 16 channels programmed in the radio. you can program the full 32 if you have- the software, http://hamradio.online.ru/ftp/dw.php?icf3f4.zip . I had the same problem. I solved it by going into program mode, then while holding down the function key, input one of the missing channel numbers. The channel should appear but is flashing. Now input a frequency for the channel and exit program mode. Repeat the sequence for the other missing channels. This procedure worked for me. Good luck.

Not sure what you want.....VHF band ius approximatly 130mhz to 175 mhz..... in that VHF band there is a commercial VHF band aprox. 155 mhz to 175...... the amateur radio vhf band is aprox. 135 to 150mhz.

 

With amateur radio, any freq in that range can be used...... with commercial radio the FCC cangive a company any freq. in that range also.

 

If you are looking for FRS/GMRS frequencies they are UHF freqs not VHF.

So I'm not sure exactly what you want......sounds like you might want to program in FRS freqs into an Icom amateur radio. If thats  the case you will need an Icom that will do UHF freqs.
