Installed hallmark card studio 2011 upon launch keep recieving send error message to microsoft.

The installation must have gone wrong somewhere, Uninstall and install again.
If the program works anyway. Just disable the "Send Error Report" message:

To access the settings for the reporting feature:

  • Click Start.

  • Right-click My Computer, then click Properties.

  • Click the Advanced tab.

  • Click Error Reporting.

To configure the error reporting feature:

  • By default, error reporting is enabled. To disable it, click Disable error reporting. To continue to be notified when errors occur without being prompted to report the errors, click to select the But notify me when critical errors occur check box.

  • Specify whether you want to use error reporting for the Windows operating system, for programs, or for both Windows and programs.

  • To report errors only for selected programs, click Choose Programs, click All programs in this list, and then click the programs that you do not want to include.

  • To add a program that is not listed, click Add, type the name of the program, or click Browse to find the program on your computer.

I can't get Outlook to send. I think the software is not properly configured

Hello,

Please make sure that your outgoing server are not having connection problems. You can test it by going to the command prompt and type:

telnet ipaddressofthemailserverhere 25

25 is the default port port the Outgoing SMTP server. If you see a connection closed error, then you have a blocked connection problem. You should report it to your mail service provider or ask your internet service provider if they are blocking port 25.

hi im josh in cebu phils. friend try this stuff to help you solve the problem.
This is a new error message in Windows XP that is displayed after you've had a program crash. (In Windows XP—in most cases—a program crash doesn't crash the entire operating system.) The message goes on to tell you that a log of this error has been created, and then prompts you to "please tell Microsoft about this problem." If you click the Send Error Report button, your computer will connect to the Internet and send the aforementioned error report to Microsoft. You also have the option to not send the report.
What happens when you click the Send Error Report button? Well, you can see for yourself by clicking the "To see what data this error report contains, click here" link. Windows will now display a totally incomprehensible collection of technical information that doesn't tell you diddly squat.
The big concern, of course, is how much of this information is technical and how much is personal; most users don't want to send Microsoft any more personal data than they absolutely have to. Microsoft says that they don't intentionally collect your name, address, email address, or any other personal information—however, the error report itself might include data files that contain this type of information.
So, should you send the error report? I'd recommend not, as you don't directly benefit from it; Microsoft uses this information for future bug fixes, not to help you with your specific problem. Just click the Don't Send button and continue with whatever you were doing before the message appeared.
By the way, if you get this message every time you turn on your PC, you need to update your version of Windows XP with Service Pack 1. This is a bug in the original Windows XP code that affects a small number of systems, and was fixed by Microsoft in SP1.
Unmountable boot volume This message is generated when certain Windows XP files become garbled, making your hard disk inaccessible. The solution is to use XP's new Recovery Console utility to repair the installation. Follow these steps:
  1. Reboot your computer using the Windows installation CD.
  2. When you see the Welcome to Setup screen, press the R key on your keyboard to start the Recovery Console.
  3. You're now presented with a command prompt. Enter chkdsk and press Enter.
  4. Enter exit and press Enter to quit the Recovery Console and restart your computer.
If this doesn't fix the problem, restart the Recovery Console and run the chkdsk /r command.
Windows protection error This error typically occurs when your computer attempts to load or unload a problematic virtual device driver (VXD). In most cases, the problematic driver is mentioned in the error message; in other cases, however, you'll have no clue as to what is causing the problem.
If you can track down the driver causing the problem, you can usually fix things by reinstalling or updating the driver, repairing any damaged Registry entries, or eliminating any driver conflicts.
good luck friend.

My sony CLIE PEG-SJ20 is not compatible with Vista. Is there some mechanism I can install that will make it work with Vista?

I had the same problem with my clie peg-sj20 on my vista home basic based laptop. I could not hotsync after installing the original software. I've never tried to use my pda with this setup before so I was trying to find a way to make it work when I found this post, figured I would reply with what I found.
My Sony clie peg-sj20 runs the Palm o.s. 4.1 software and apparently Sony no longer supports this model. So after trying to hotsync and letting the Windows vista install wizard find the proper software, it suggested contacting the manufacturer of the operating system. I went to the Palm websight and downloaded the Palm o.s. 6.2 software which is compatible with vista, even though it doesn't say it supports the sj20. After installing it I performed a hotsync during setup when I was prompted to do so, and it totally worked. I'm not sure if this version works with other applications but it enabled me to hotsync running vista.
Hope this helps someone out there. Good luck.

Hotsync between vista and clie t615c

I could not sync my new Dell XPS with my t615c clie. Same error about not finding the com port.
I tried the solution about Xp compatability.. and still did not work.
I thought I would have to keep my XP PC and sync to there. But then my XP Pc did not sync either.
I did a soft reset from the hole in the back of T615C and then I could sync to the XP PC.
Then I thought maybe.. just maybe if the reset worked, I could sync to the Vista PC. YEAH!!!!!!.
It might have been a combination of making the check mark with the XP compatablity.. or just the reset button. But I am a happy camper now.
Life is simply sometimes...... IF YOU WORK AT IT!

ok..i understand your concern regards of that. What you can do now is you have to send the error report because this will investigate the Microsoft company about the error of your computer. Do you have an internet connection? try run the liveupdate, I have a suspicion that your laptop was a victim of software counterfeiting (it means that your software maybe not genuine) try to report that to www.micorsoft.com

Sony Clie PEG-T615C Hotsync doesn't work with my Windows Vista Home Edition

I must maintain my older XP system just to maintain my pda. Awkward, for sure. I have not contacted Sony yet.

I once discarded a very nice, functioning rinter by Canon because there was no driver for XP.

Ouch!

Installing this PDA on Windows Vista Home Premium laptop

you shouldnt need a device driver for your pda to work along side with Vista, as Vista has it's own Windows mobile device centre which should run as soon as you connect your pda to a usb port. If it doesnt run, then open up windows mobile device centre in programmes and check the mobile device settings as to whether usb is set to connect to the centre.
