I don't know how to get the battery out of my Huawei ascend h866c to be able to put an sd card in it

Just with the volume buttons or are you trying to use internal controls as well. If neither work, you may have a defective speaker.

don't know what you have on to use it akk up... try deleting pics/ videos / mp3s/ ringtones, or add in a mini sd card

If you have an SD card in the cell phone, remove and restart the phone. If that doesn't work, do a complete reset. Keep in mind that you will lose all the data in your phone when you do that. Please take a backup before resetting your phone.

if i was you i would reset the phone. hold the power key and the volue down key and wait for 15 seconds. if that doesnt work put battery out then in, and just ultimatley give it tme to rest! hope this helps

I had to search all over the web and could not find a way. But On a whim I tried something and got it to work. This is what I did.
1- turn off phone
2-remove both battery and SD Card. This is what people always didn't tell me.
3-replace only the battery.
4-press both up and down volume at the same time as the power button.
5-keep holding them till the screen turned on and there was a cute animation with the android.
From here I used the up and down volume buttons to select, and the power button to confirm.

there should be a reset button under the battery inside the case.
