A transfer roller current leak signal is detected. The current feedback signal for the transfer roller is not detected.
Causes
• High voltage supply board defective • Poor connection of the PCU • Transfer/separation unit set incorrectly • Transfer roller damaged

SC402: Transfer roller leak error 2 A transfer roller current leak signal is detected. The current feedback signal for the transfer roller is not detected.
Never clean or touch the Transfer Roller (spongey rooler) unless your using a dry cloth or vaccum as last measure.
Usually the transfer roller sits on a drum/pcu specific to that color. If you can tell which color is sitting on to of the roller replace that drum/pcu.
Try loading letter size paper in tray1 .. Open the front door and the assembly attached to the front door is the transfer roller ASM. mybe you knocked it out of position ..There are green plastic clips that allow someone to the transfer roller unit so its easy to mess up good luck
Please open the front door and turn the blue lever in the middle,
remove the Transfer and Separation unit and check if the bushings of the transfer roller are damaged.
If OK, please give some oil on the shaft/bushings of the transfer roller. This unit may be replaced as a whole unit.
If SC401 re-occurs, please check the Photoconductor unit (drum).
Transfer roller leak error 2 A current leak signal for the transfer roller is detected. A current feedback signal for the transfer roller is not detected. • High voltage supply board defective • Poor connection of the PCU • Transfer/separation unit set incorrectly • Transfer roller damaged
The above is what SC402 means the most common thing is that someone tried to change the toner and pull out the drum unit a little way.
OPen right hand door open front door lift green toner handle press green button and pull toner unit out press the green button further and keep pulling and then the toner unit will come out totally.
To the right of that is the drum unit pinch the unlock and pull out then push all the way back in. Reinstall the toner unit close all covers and turn machine on.
Hopefully this will work if not there is going to be a problem with the other possibilities listed above
hi im jules_09.
sc 401 means transfer roller leak error.a transfer current leaksignal is detected.posible causes is 1.transfer power pack is defective 2.poor connection between the transfer terminal and the trnsfer power pack
sc 419 mean quenching lamperor.1 quenching lamp defective 2.poor conection between power pack and quenching lamp.
check all component but pay attetion to the current leak at the transfer because there both connected at the power pack
The machine's power supply will determine the voltage. The part number with NA is 120v and the other EU is 220v. If you are running from a 120v outlet, get the 120v version.
I highly doubt if it is compitable with the Brother printer.
