whenever my pc is turned off it makes an annoying beeping sound. 1 short and 1 long. Can this problem be solved online?

These sounds are known as BIOS beep codes. They indicate an error with your system. Traditionally, 1 long and 1 short indicates a system board problem.
If you google bios beep codes, you will be able to find the codes that relate to your Bios, or motherboard.
Backup your files. Your computer is trying to tell you something.
