Blinking red light (by 4 users)
we have the same problem as freckleface - blinking red power light and the TV won't turn on. Tried the power plug thing with no help. Anyone????

Hello we also have the same problem. Our Panasonic TH-37PA20 was on, suddenly there was a loud pop, burnt smell and the LED light is red and blinking 3 short blinks and 1 long blink.
Now we have no picture, no sound.
Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks!

I have the same problem only mine made a loud pop sound before the screen went blank. Now the power light flashes but the set will not power-up. I have a call in to a repair service, not excited about the potential repair cost. The TV is 24 months old.
