RE: No Outputs working

Last night I noticed my Wall outlet Cover had fallen off and a loose Video cable was dangling inside the wall near the hot wires. I reached near the wall and could well the Shock. I shutdown the power re put on the Wall Outlet Cover and re attached my HD Cable and my X-Box 360 as well as my DVD player back to the TV. Now nothing seems to work. I get power from the TV and can play my X-Box 360 on Video 5 I believe, but get no sound. Video 1 which is my DVD player Outputs nothing. My Direct TV/HD doesn't show up or have sound on Video 4. I am just not sure as to if the shock could have wrecked a few on my Video IN/OUTS or when I shut up power of and re-booted everything if I might have messed with some of the settings.. Thanks, Ross

Possible video switching ic or menu settings checked menu first then one at a time start removing inputs to see if one is causing a problem and on which input if all are affected after you checked your meun settings ,possibly internal video switching is at fault.

Try and unplugging the Unit from the wall outlet and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Then plug it back into the wall outlet and let it sit for 60 to 90 seconds before powering it up. See if that fixes it! If it has a processor in it 'which it does' it can get confused.

How to replace assy lamp

Before you replace the assy lamp :

1. Replace with the correct code numbered lamp to avoid damage to the TV.
2. Turn the power off and wait for 30 minutes before replacing the lamp as it will be hot.
3. Do not touch the glass part of the lamp with your bare hands nor insert any foreign object inside the cover as it may cause poor screen quality, electric shock or fire.
4. Do not place the old lamp near flammable objects or within the reach of children.
5. Be sure to connect this TV directly to an AC wall outlet. If the TV's AC plug is connected to a cable box or other source, it will not allow for proper cool down time.

To replace assy lamp on SP46L3HX follow steps :

1. Unplug the TV, then use a screwdriver to remove the 4 screws.

2. Remove the Lamp cover.

3. Remove the screw securing the Lamp by using a screwdriver.

4. Separate the Lamp from the engine by holding the handle and pulling it out.

5. To reinstall the Lamp, follow these steps in reverse order.

The tv was re conneceted after 2 wks. It played

Try connecting the TV directly to a different wall outlet and check. If the issue persists, try power resetting the TV. Turn Off the TV and remove the power plug from the wall outlet for 1 minute and reconnect it and check the operation. If the issue persists, then the TV requires service.

Mitsubishi WD-52525 was working fine and now it will not turn on

This is just a shot - but it worked with my Sony (same problem).
Pressed remote power on button AND held Power button on TV on at the same time.

Set clicked 4 or 5 times and then came on....

Other, most have a (VERY small) reset switch on the rear - near where the power cord enters the TV... Use a flashlight and a mirror to locate it on your set....

Last night I bent the (cheap) yellow input cable a little too much and the stressed cause the cable to snap off inside the tv. Any suggestions on how to get the piece left inside the tv out? For a quick...

If your cable box has the red, green and blue component outputs that would work good as long as the TV has component inputs. Other than that you could use the side yellow input.

Cant find how to remove the stand on our newly purchased Soniq QSL323CT1 anywhere in the manual. We are trying to mount it on the wall.

1. Disconnect all cables.
2. Cover a level and stable surface with a thick and soft cloth.
3. Gently lay the TV, face down, onto the cloth. Make sure the Table-Top stand is hanging over the edge.
4. Rotate the cable holder 90 degrees, and pull it out completely.
5. Remove the screws (3 or 4 in rear next to cable holder, depending on which model wall-mount kit you have) being sure to hold the Table-Top-Stand firmly while removing the last screw.
6. Do not remove any other screws from the TV.
They also say not to remove the stand for any reason other than wall-mounting the TV. Their should be instructions with the wall-mount kit.
Hope this helps!

How to hook up cable from the wall to epson ex30 projector

The Epson is a monitor only. It has no tuner, so no cable connections. If you have a cable box or VCR, or DVD with RCA Style Connectors (yellow, red and white) connect your cable coax to the box or VCR and then the video and audio outputs on the box or VCR to the projector and select the video mode.

Sounds like a power supply issue. Does the power indicator light up? Can you hear a click when the power button is pressed?

The screen on my 1 year old 42 inch Akai plasma tv suddenly went blank although I still have sound. Any clues?

Reset the cable/sat box and tv by turning them off, unplugging them both from the wall outlet, and replugging them after 30 seconds. See if you get pictue back when they get the correct handshake. also, make sure that there are no loose cables going into the TV or into the cable/sat box. You can try using a different type of connecting cord from the cable/sat box to the tv to make sure it is not a bad connecting cord.

What type of cable is connecting your cable/sat box to the TV? Is it HDMI?

Are you using a video game system on the plasma?
