Printing problem on 5610

Our HP Officejet 5610 All-in-one printer recently started having some lines that are not printing properly. Thinking it was running out of ink, I replaced the (black) cartridge. Even still when it prints the test page, the blue seems to be allright, but the bottom of the page (black) seems like it's only printing every other line and very faintly. My husband even uninstalled and reinstalled it, cleaned the cartridge and it's still not working. Any suggestions? The 1 year warranty is up on it and I really don't want to get stuck buying another!

Printer not printing, message appears saying cartridges dont fit.

Have you recently changed your cartridges? Try replacing them, if you haven't printed for a while the cartridges will dry up and you will not be able to print.

Missing printed lines form HP Officejet J5750 All in One printer

The cartridges may need to be cleaned by the printer. Check for this option on your user's manual, they will usually refer to it as a nozzle check/clean.
If the cartridge is clogged and does not unclog replace the ink cartridge. Contrary to what people might think these cartridges have a shell life and can be faulty out of the box.
