A/c and power streering belt how do I intall i think im missing

I just bought a 2000 Hyundai Accent and I think some parts are missing. I have a place for two belts on my crank pulley. The inside pulley I am running my water pump and my alt. The outside crank pulley line up with the a/c and power steering but the belt hits my water pump bolts. I have a lower tension pulley (inline with my a/c and power steering) and what appears to be a place for a upper tension pulley. My question is am I missing a part or does my water pump pulley need to be fliped to except a belt with the a/c and power steering. Therefore shorting the alt belt to run between the crank and alt.

I think your problem may be MICE. Check your upper and lower O2 Sensor wires. I believe they are both 4 wire sensors. If a wire has been chewed through this is what happens. I personally had this problem myself once in my 2000 Hyundai Accent. GOOD LUCK.

I have a 2000 Hyundai Accent Gs. I was sitting in my car one night letting it warm up. Well iit died out come to find out some of the teeth on my timing belt was broke. I replaced tghe timing belt i think...

I dont think there is any bent valve but that you lost ur timing by a few (mm) if I folowed ur explanation wel, get some1 to reset ur timing, thats a few minutes job. Good luck.

timing belt is the one which controls the firing of the engine.it should be correctly adjusted so that no misfirng takes place.

ya hyndai accent also have that timing belt in it.

I am changing timing belt in a 2000 accent and it wont start i lined up the timing marks and even turned it one full turn after that and it still dont start turns very freely

lots of possibilities. sounds like you may be out 180 degrees.
im thinking crank probably needs cylinder 1 at top dead center and then line the marks up.
best to double check the book.

there is a 15 amp fuse for the rear wiper under the bonnet check this, also i think the accent has a seperste switch in the dashboard for the rear wiper like th hyundai coupe.
