Problems with pendrive data gets corrupted

When i copy datain the pendrive it gets copied correctly for the first few seconds but then it heats up and the files copied after that when tried to open are corrupt and do not function.

Why not backup your remaining data from the pendrive. Then reformat your pendrive using full format. If it still behave like that , your pendrive is already giving up.
