I have had good luck with the powdered dishwasher detergent from Wall Mart's brand Great Value.

Before I switched to this brand I had to clean the washer drawer several times because the detergent I was using was not dissolving properly and would leave a residue in the bottom of the drawer and on the dishes.

Suds leaking from detergent drawer on brand new Bosch washing machine

Use high efficiency detergent that s more concentrated. It uses MUCH lesser detergent VoLUME than conventional. The detergent has "He" letter on the bottle. And usually with FULl load it uses only about 150+-cc ( my cup is on 3marked level provided by the detergent bottle) Hope this helps! Robert Calgary, AB

Dishwasher leaving a film on dishes in the rinse cycle and I'm using the same detergent since it was bought new.

Unfortunately, even though you are using the same detergent brand (and version). The detergent formulation has changed. The phosphate compounds in the detergent have been removed. The phosphates improved the cleaning action in the old formulas significantly by keeping the calcium and other mineral ions from redepositing on the dishes. They also helped improve other parts of the cleaning process.

If you aren't using a rinse aid, try adding some to your dishwasher. Otherwise try other brands and formulations of detergent to find one that actually works. Recent tests by Consumer Reports gave the best grades to the the Finish Quantum and Powerball tablet detergents. (However, both of these ranked lower than the 2010 test best product due to the phosphate-free formulas.) All of the powdered phosphate-free formulas ranked at the bottom of the list.

I wish that I had better news for you.

(We went through a similar issue with our dishwasher detergent. The Consumer Reports test results are probably available at your local library if they subscribe to the publication. Otherwise you can pay a fee to access the content online. I read a review of the chemistry issue for the detergents in the Jan 24, 2011 issue of C&EN, which may be in a Chemistry or University library near you.)

What is the proper soap detergent needed for front loader samsung washer and dryers?and where to purchase?

These types of washing machine require HE (high efficiency) detergent and it is available from most supermarkets, costco, wallmart and many other stores.

Just lokok for "HE" on the front.

Detergent brand names may vary but "HE" remains.
DO NOT use regular detergent as this can and does cause many issues on these washing machines some may even require an engineer to call and fix them.

These are by far one of the best washing machine types saving both energy and time for a much better clean.

Laundry Detergent

this usually depends on the type and brand of detergent you use. for example if you use standard detergent and it takes 1 cup, then you use concentrated detergent and it takes 1/2 cup. you have to check the detergent container for proper amount to use. for most detergents it is around 3/4 to 1 cup of detergent.
Ps. dont forget to rate my answer please. Thanks.

What kind of detergent do I use on my Malber WD 1000?

Choice of detergent should be straightforward subject to personal preference;

Concentrated is usually more economical, as you don't have to use as much as with UNconcentrated.

Liquid or powder is no contest, it's liquid every time, it dissolves better in harder water areas and doesn't clog up your dispenser.

Brand choice depends on where you live, we use Persil but supermarket own brands are usually a lot cheaper eg Carrefour.

Hope this is useful
