Anytime you have ice buildup in back of freezer it indicates that the auto defrost mechanism is not working. Check the defrost timer, heater element, defrost thermostat for proper operation.
Check the vents coming into the frig from the freezer and with the fan in the freezer blowing feel if there is any air blowing into the frig., if not then check for ice buildup in the freezer. sometimes the ice will block the fan and or vents. Defrost if there is frost and ice buildup.
Look on the back wall of the freezer for a ice buildup. If there is ice you have a defrost problem. The defrost timer is in the fresh food section inside the control panel. The defrost heater and defrost thermostat are behind the freezer back panel inside the freezer. Also check the freezer fan. If there is no ice buildup in the freezer the freezer fan motor could be bad.
you will have to unclogg it..hot water/hairdryer..flexible tubing to push out the clog. the ice on evap coil bothers me though. do all the coils get frosty white(close the door for 10 minutes then check) I fear they aren't and you have a freon leak.
