ASUS M2N32 SLI Deluxe - Fans Come On But Board Doesn't Post

Have an ASUS M2N32 SLI Deluxe with Corsair Memory installed in my favorite case. Everything is plugged into the board that's supposed to be plugged in including the front panel feature set connections. Have tried the set up with a variety of processors, video cards and power supplies and have even disconnected the hard drive, thinking that that might be the problem. BIOS is the most recent. Always get the same response. All the fans (CPU, chipset, case, drive cooler and power supply) come on, but the board won't go through the posting process. The only anomaly (other than the board not posting) is the IDE LED which comes on when I turn on the power and stays on. Any ideas?

I'm looking for a copy of a install disk for a ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard that I can download.

I assume that you are looking for the ASUS drivers, utilities, etc. You can go to http://www.asus.com and select service, support, motherboards, and enter your data to get to your model and select to download drivers. If you are looking for an operating system install disk you have to go buy that.

Odd PC Build Bootup Problem:: I recently built a PC and have an odd problem when booting up. Build: MOBO: M2N32-SLI Deluxe CPU: AMD 6000+ RAM: Corsair 2 x 2048 PC6400C5 GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 4670 1GB...

Instead of connecting you're fans to a single 4-pin molex on the power supply why not use the motherboards 3-pin molex fan connectors coming off the motherboard. See page 2.2.4 in your manual. Though I agree you should still be able to run 4-pin molex connectors to all fans off of you're PS. Allow the mother board to supply the 12v current to you're extra fans.

You're motherboard will supply the needed power. Less wiring will also allow better air flow through out the system and less strain to the fan controllers.

My m2n32-sli premium vista edition motherboard refuses to boot up when i put 6 gbs of memory. How do i solve this issue?

Hi iimarceloii, did you check the FAQ section on Asus web site?
Using Vista 32bit/64bit edition or win XP;
http://support.asus.com/faq/faq.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=M2N32-SLI%20Premium%20VISTA%20Edition&os=24
Basically Asus wants you to use 2GB of memory until windows has been completely installed & completely updated before you can add more memory to the system.
Than you can increase your memory to 6BG. To see all the FAQ's from Asus, click on this link; http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us
Type: M2N32-SLI into the search window & click the arrow button.

Good luck iimarceloii!

Asus P5N-E SLI Mobo will not boot or post.

Hi bart, please re-check you're memory. See page 1-17 in you're user manual. (Read everything)!
You're Asus board can not use 184-pin DDR DIMM's.
Also check the QVL list for supported memory page's 1-18 & 1-19.
I did not see Corsair on either page.
You're board can only use 240-pin DDR2 memory. Please read the "Notes" at the top of page 1-18.
If everything (Regarding memory) is within the Asus specifications than clear the cmos/bios & re-boot again. If you're system still does not boot than remove one DIMM & try again.
Asus warrants their boards for three years. Call Asus tech at
1-812-282-2787 EST, IL 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The call is on you but the service is free. It's worth every dime.

Good Luck & Kind Regards.
Would you be kind enough to let me know what Asus suggested? (If it comes to that).

Mike
